The Dakhla Atlantique port project has reached 74 % completion, with delivery still slated for late 2028. Protective works and platforms are due by end‑2026, and a multi‑purpose quay under 12 m depth should be finished this year as part of the phased rollout.

Port Dakhla Atlantique : the works pass the 74 % mark

The Dakhla Atlantique port construction site continues to progress according to the planned schedule. The Monitoring and Supervision Directorate confirms an overall completion rate of 74 %, with a delivery deadline still set for the end of 2028.

A major intermediate milestone is looming for the end of 2026. The protective works and backfill areas are expected to be accepted by then, reinforcing the infrastructure's foundation.

On the quay side, activity remains brisk along a total length exceeding 2.5 kilometres. A first multi‑purpose quay, designed for a depth of less than 12 metres, must be completed before the end of the current year.

This steady progress further anchors this structuring project in the economic landscape of the provinces. The coming months will be decisive with the finalisation of this first operational quay.
