MDM Invest is a co‑financing scheme designed to support, in the form of a non‑repayable contribution, projects for the creation or expansion of businesses promoted in Morocco by Moroccans residing abroad (MREs). It is managed by Tamwilcom, a Moroccan public institution.
The scheme is open to MREs as well as Moroccans who have recently returned to the country, who are proposing projects for the creation or expansion of businesses in Morocco, with an investment of at least 1 MDH. Eligible sectors are industry, industry‑related services, education, transport and logistics, energy, the green economy, digital, crafts, local products, tourism and health. The project must not have been carried out before the application is submitted.
The contribution is a non‑repayable investment grant representing 10 % of the project amount, capped at 5 MDH. It is paid after the project has been effectively completed, the remainder being financed by a bank loan and/or other contributions.
The project promoter must provide an equity contribution of at least 20 % of the investment amount. The MDM Invest contribution carries no repayment obligation and no interest.
The application for the contribution is submitted exclusively by the eligible company to the bank, regardless of the financing method chosen for the remainder of the project.
