All three matches kick off at the same time: 6:00 PM Eastern Time (EDT).

What time to watch, wherever you live

This is the question every MRE asks. Kickoff is 6:00 PM on the US East Coast. Here is the local time for all three matches, the same each matchday:

Where you areKickoff time
Morocco11:00 PM
France, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Italy00:00 (next day)
United Kingdom, Ireland11:00 PM
US and Canada East Coast (New York, Montreal, Toronto)6:00 PM
US West Coast (Los Angeles, San Francisco)3:00 PM
UAE, Gulf2:00 AM (next day)

For MRE in continental Europe, plan a late night: matches start exactly at midnight.

Match tickets: the official FIFA procedure

The only official and safe platform to buy a ticket is FIFA.com/tickets. Never buy elsewhere: scams and fake tickets surge as the tournament approaches.

The current phase is the Last-Minute Sales Phase, open since April 1 and running until the end of the competition. Tickets are sold as inventory becomes available, first come first served, with instant confirmation.

Steps to buy:

  1. Create an account on the official FIFA portal (FIFA.com/tickets)
  2. Log in and select the match you want (for example Brazil vs Morocco)
  3. Check real-time availability and choose your category
  4. Pay by card; the ticket is personal and digital (FIFA app)

Price categories:

CategoryLocationPrice reference (group stage)
Category 1Lower tier, best viewMost expensive
Category 2Lower and upper tiers outside Category 1Mid-range
Category 3Mainly upper tierAffordable
Category 4Upper tier, most economicalFrom around USD 120

FIFA uses dynamic pricing: prices for a high-demand match (like Brazil vs Morocco) rise with demand. For fan-to-fan resale, the only authorized platform is the FIFA Resale Marketplace, at face value.

FRMF tickets at MAD 550: who and how

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) launched a group-stage ticket offer from MAD 550, via the WeBook platform. That is significantly cheaper than standard FIFA ticketing.

The key condition: to access FRMF ticketing, you must hold a Royal Air Maroc flight ticket. The platform asks for the booking reference (PNR) and the passenger name before unlocking the purchase. The stated goal is to fight speculation and prioritize fans traveling from Morocco.

In practice, this offer mainly targets fans departing from Morocco on a RAM flight. MRE already based in the US or Europe without a RAM flight should use FIFA.com/tickets.

Royal Air Maroc special flights

Royal Air Maroc set up an exceptional program for the group stage: 32 additional direct flights to the United States, between June 13 and 24, totaling more than 8,800 seats to the three cities where Morocco plays.

The fare: a round trip in economy at MAD 10,000 (about EUR 935), on fixed dates and non-refundable.

Where to buy: at Royal Air Maroc commercial agencies in Morocco and on the dedicated Go Lions platform. Sales started on May 20.

By city:

DestinationFlightsPeriodCapacity
New York12 extra flightsJune 11 to 15about 3,300 fans
Boston12 direct flightsdepartures June 17-19, returns June 20-22group-stage reinforcement
Atlanta8 rotationsaround the Haiti matchabout 2,200 seats

Atlanta receives special direct flights from the Moroccan carrier for the first time, for the Haiti match.

Entering the United States: what every MRE must check

This is the point many overlook, and it can block everything. Entry rules depend on your passport, not your country of residence.

  • If you travel on a Moroccan passport: Morocco is not part of the US visa waiver program. You need a B1/B2 visitor visa, with an appointment at the US consulate or embassy. Wait times can be long: apply as early as possible. Holding a match ticket can support your application but does not guarantee a visa.
  • If you hold a passport from a visa-waiver country (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and most EU countries): you travel with an ESTA authorization, requested online, no appointment, valid for short tourist stays.
  • If you live in Canada: check the specific transit and stay rules for your passport.

In all cases, check your passport validity (at least 6 months recommended) and prepare your documents well before departure.

If Morocco advances: the path

2026 format: 48 teams, 12 groups of four. The top two in each group, plus the eight best third-placed teams, reach the round of 32.

The round of 32 starts on June 28. Depending on its final ranking in Group C, Morocco would play its round-of-32 match around June 29 or 30. For reference, the Group C winner is expected to play on June 29 in Houston. The exact opponent depends on results in other groups, which will only be known at the end of the group stage. The final is on July 19, 2026 at MetLife Stadium, the venue where Morocco plays its first match.

Practical tips for fans

  • Book early: flights, accommodation and tickets sell fast for Morocco's matches, especially Brazil vs Morocco.
  • Stay on the East Coast: the three cities (New York, Boston, Atlanta) are connected by 1.5 to 2.5-hour flights, or by train on the New York-Boston corridor.
  • Beware unofficial resale: a FIFA ticket is personal and digital. Outside FIFA.com and the FIFA Resale Marketplace, the risk of a fake ticket is real.
  • Plan for the time difference: 6 hours between the East Coast and Morocco.
  • Follow official announcements: FRMF, Royal Air Maroc and FIFA post ticket and flight updates on their official channels.
