Laprophan Receives AMMC Approval for Listing on the Casablanca Stock Exchange

The pharmaceutical group Laprophan has received approval from the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) for its listing on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. The maximum total value of the offering reaches 2,222,535,700 dirhams. The share price is set at 341 dirhams.

The offering is divided into two parts. The first is a capital increase reserved for the public, amounting to 1,399,975,500 dirhams, including share premium. The second is a sale to the public of 2,412,200 existing shares, held by MC IV Pharma and MC IV Morocco, for a maximum amount of 822,560,200 dirhams. Once the offering is complete, the shares offered to the public will represent 37.64% of the share capital and voting rights.

According to a statement from the group, the listing is intended to support its current development and its external growth, including a new acquisition currently in progress. It also aims to strengthen the group's financial structure and support its industrial development. CFG Finance is the financial adviser and global coordinator of the offering.

The subscription period runs from 9 to 17 November 2026, inclusive. The shares will be on sale at all bank branches and brokerage firms that are members of the placement syndicate.

Laprophan claims a history of more than 75 years, beginning in 1949 with Dr Abderrahim Bennis. The group presents itself as an integrated multinational pharmaceutical platform. It is active across the entire medicine value chain, from research and development to marketing, including manufacturing and distribution, through an integrated, multi-hub model.
