Moroccans still visa-exempt for the Philippines
The Philippine Embassy in Morocco denies rumors of a visa requirement for Moroccans: the visa‑free entry for a thirty‑day stay remains in force, provided the passport is valid for six months and a return ticket is shown.
Moroccans still visa-exempt for the Philippines
The Philippine Embassy in Morocco has moved to set the record straight via a notice published on Facebook. Incorrect information was circulating online claiming that a visa or e-visa was now required for holders of Moroccan passports. That is not the case.
The exemption regime remains fully in force. The official Philippine visa policy website confirms that Morocco features on the list of beneficiary countries, on the basis of Executive Order No. 408 and its amendments. Moroccan tourists can therefore enter the territory for an initial stay of 30 days without any prior visa application.
Entry remains, however, subject to compliance with standard rules. The passport must have a validity of at least six months beyond the intended date of departure. The authorities also require presentation of a return ticket to Morocco or to an onward destination.
