Anthropometric record: Moroccans abroad will be able to request it online from 9 November

Moroccans residing abroad will be able to request their anthropometric record online from 9 November. Applications will be made via the website www.epolice.ma, according to the Moroccan embassy in Mali, which announced this on X on Thursday 5 November. MRE will therefore no longer need to travel to Morocco to obtain this document.

The service was launched by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). It allows users to verify their identity and pay the associated fees online.

Not everything can be done remotely, however. The document is called the "extract from the anthropometric record" and, once ready, it must be collected in person from the Moroccan embassy or the relevant consulate.

As for the nature of the document, one reader summed it up as follows: 'a record of judicial history (an equivalent of the criminal record)'. It is this description, phrased for those who had not understood at first, that explains the comparison drawn with the criminal record.
