Main ferry routes to Morocco

From Spain (fastest): Algeciras-Tangier Med (1h30 fast-ferry), Tarifa-Tangier City (1h), Motril-Tangier Med (6-8h), Almeria-Nador (6-8h), Barcelona-Tangier Med (24-32h).

From France: Sète-Tangier Med (38-44h), Sète-Nador (24-28h), Marseille-Tangier Med (38-46h).

From Italy: Genoa-Tangier Med (48-58h), Civitavecchia-Tangier Med (48h).

Price ranges summer 2026

Algeciras-Tangier Med: EUR 30-80/person (foot), EUR 150-350 (car + 2 persons). Sète-Tangier Med: EUR 200-500/person with cabin. Booking in April-May saves 30-50% compared to June-July.

Fixed ticket mandatory in August

Since 2025, dated and timed tickets are mandatory at all Moroccan and Spanish ports during August. Open tickets no longer accepted.
